Starting November 2014, Michel Louboutin is the new President of the Romanian Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies Association, ROPEPCA.

ROPEPCA was founded in November 2012, aiming to strengthen the image of the Onshore upstream oil and gas sector in Romania and to enhance its relationship with the state, government, regional and local authorities, national agencies, and general public. The mission of the Association is to provide a common voice for the onshore upstream oil and gas sector in Romania.

The association gathers active players from the Romanian Exploration and Production industry who share the same goals: Respect of the Environment, an ethical working relationship, respecting the highest standards and using the latest technology. Romanian Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies Association is composed of 19 petroleum concession agreements holders.
